What's the best way to do a "big initial shop", (especially for heavy items like water, beer and wine) as well as food! EASY PEASY! free
delivery at Transito ( good prices too). Best advice is to jump a cab from the rank in the village (2/3 euros well worth it!) ( 5 minutes up the hill) to San Francisco Transito or Santiago Transito supermarket; have a really good shop ( and then ask the checkout girl to deliver, giving your address (Apartamento 324 or 405 Pablado Marinero) , listen to the approximate time {+- 60 minutes} then relax at the cafe, have a coffee and croissant and either stroll back downhill (or get a cab) wait in your apartment, they will arrive at your door ,fairly close to the forecast time and they will bring it ALL to your kitchen. no need to fret about carrying heavy stuff or opening doors to let them in they know their way around.A small tip is always welcomed
